Your teen is not unmotivated.
Their brain just works differently.
Behind the missed homework, the emotional meltdowns, and the "I forgot" is a young person who is trying harder than most people realise. ADHD coaching gives them the language, the tools, and the belief in themselves to stop fighting who they are and start building a life that works.
No lectures. No shame. Just real strategies designed for their brain, delivered by someone who genuinely gets it.
What This Looks Like
Coaching is not tutoring. It is not therapy. It is something different.
We start by understanding your teen. Their strengths. Their challenges. The things they care about and the things that feel impossible. From there we build practical strategies together, not handed down from a textbook, but created with them so they actually want to use them.
Sessions are collaborative, honest, and often funny. Teens bring what matters most to them that week, and we work on it together. Over time they develop self awareness, emotional regulation, and a toolkit they carry with them into adulthood.
The goal is not a "fixed" teen. The goal is a teen who trusts themselves.
What We Work On
Focus areas for teens
Self Regulation
Learning to notice what is happening inside before it takes over. We build tools for managing emotions, energy, and impulses that teens can actually use in the moment, without needing someone to remind them.
School Strategies
Homework systems, study methods, and test preparation built around how the ADHD brain learns best. Not another planner they will abandon by week two. Real systems that stick.
Confidence & Identity
Years of hearing "try harder" and "you are so smart, why can't you just…" take a toll. We help teens see themselves clearly, build on what they are genuinely good at, and let go of the shame.
Social Navigation
Friendships can be confusing when your brain processes social cues differently. We work on understanding dynamics, building authentic connections, and knowing when to walk away.
Executive Function
Planning, prioritising, getting started, staying on track, and switching between tasks. These are the invisible skills school expects but never teaches. We teach them.
Routines That Work
Morning routines, evening routines, weekend routines. Not rigid schedules. Flexible systems designed for brains that resist routine, built with the teen so they actually own them.
A Note to Parents
If you are reading this, you are already doing something important. You are looking for the right support for your child, and that matters more than you know.
Coaching works best when teens feel ownership over the process. That means sessions are their space. But we keep you in the loop, share progress, and make sure the strategies we build together are supported at home too.
You don't have to navigate this alone. Neither does your teen.
